Another solid day spent in the parking lot at Arrowhead for our 5th Annual NLU Tailgate! Gotta say the party was a whole lot more fun than the game, but our tailgate crew is tough to beat. I personally enjoyed the group tixs and getting to watch the Arrowhead security guards bloody & bruise some of Wyandotte counties finest.
I want to thank each one of you for coming, just know that it's my favorite day of the year as I get to combine great friends, bbq, football and a chance to practice my mascot skills. Special thanks to Close Quarters, Bob Sight Ford/Kia, Promotional Program Marketing, and Nature's Grilling Products for their donations which in part helped raise close to $1,000 for KC's House of Hope. Nice work gang. Also, much love to all the NLU Board Members for their hard and unselfish work to pull off the event. We'd like to recognize Bobby Beachy as this year's board nominee. He's nominated for NLU Director of Gameday Collections & Assistant Packing Coordinator.
I've posted a few pics in the NLU 5: Photo Gallery. If you have any pics, email 'em to me and I'll post them for everyone. We'll be going on Round 6 next year, same place, same good times...'till then- much tailgate love to all.

Zach, you're into sunglasses, which model is Johnny sporting and what season are they from?
No amount of shade can shield us from the poor play of the Fightin' Carls.

I could have sworn I saw Paris in the student section vs. FLA-Atlantic.
Go to the replay....to quote Dave Armstrong...."That's HOT."
